Preclinical Surgical Services

Preclinical Surgical Services, within the Piedmont Triad Research Park, is a fee-for-service, boutique, contract research organization focused on proof-of-principle, method development, and efficacy testing (non-GLP) in the preclinical surgical research arena, utilizing a variety of surgical models from several fields (regenerative medicine, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, etc) and in multiple species (rodents, canine, swine, goats, sheep, primates). The organization is directed by Dr. Vince Mendenhall, DVM, PhD, who has close to 40 years experience in all areas and specialties of surgical research.
